I remember,
My first experience with the warhammer 40 thousand universe. I had just got a new RTS(real time strategy) video game for my computer called Dawn of War. Gosh, I was so excited to play it. I don't remember my very first battle but, I do remember the first race I played as, the Space Marines(guy in picture). 7 foot tall, 2 hearts, ceramic bones, and the strength/temper of a killing machine. These guys are designed to protect humanity from its self and what ever aliens we in counter. They are the perfect soldier. I remember leading my Space Marines against the enemy's of humanity in glouris battles worthy of song during my time playing Dawn of War. Who would of guessed thou, that, that would be the gate way drug the Warhammer 40 thousand universe of me. Some time after I got bored of Dawn of War, I decided to look up Games workshop(the guys who own the rights to the warhammer name). I was in awe of how expansive the universe was. There with so many figurines and novels avalibe on there website, and not just ones about Space marines to. There where stuff on the Eldar, Caos daemons and many more. I ended up buying a squad of Space marine miniatures and the first book of the Hours Hersy to start my collection. Now I have to many miniatures to count and a whole lot of love for Gamesworkshop. I love Space marines :)
