I remember,

when I was younger. I met a girl who, much like me had no friends in the new class. But I didn't realize it then. I only saw her in my class for only a few hours a week since she comes over to my class for chinese lesson because her class doesn't have enough students taking chinese however I never saw her during lunch or after school. Until one weekend, I saw her at the fair near my house, she asked if I could hang with her, but my parents didn't allow. On monday, when she was suppose to come to my class, she never turned up. A few weeks later, a different group of students joined instead. Being young I never noticed. Only years later, did I realise she was my first true friend in a school of strangers. Yet, I can't remember her name.
